Eric Beyhl - CEO / Creative Director

 

Before founding Cire Games, Eric held mutiple key titles at Arkane Studios for over a decade, including VR/Project Lead, Lead Environment Artist, and Lead Outsource Manager. Eric's relentless pursuit of moving, immersive game experiences served him well in his long and storied career, and informs the direction of this studio.

 

With his love of immersion, it's only natural that he is passionate about VR. In addition to helming Triple-A VR projects, he has also helped to create successful fan projects like The Matrix VR. He is also a regular in the Austin VR community scene.

Abe Robertson - Lead Technical Generalist / Audio Director

 

Abe is a veteran developer and entrepreneur who has masterfully worn almost every hat in the industry. From Design to Art to Audio to Engineering, Abe has used his knowledge and expertise to contribute to many of the industry's biggest franchises. Abe has a passion for solving complex probems, and regularly experiments with systemic and procedural game designs.

 

In addition to a rich game development career, Abe has been an Unreal Engine Academic Partner. He also has a deep understanding and love of music, and plays guitar in a band.

 

Abe's shipped titles include: Halo 4, Doom (2016), Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: World at War, Crimson Alliance, TORN, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse,  and the fan-project-turned official-Valve-approved "Black Mesa".

Justin Atkinson - Senior Artist

 

 

Justin isn't just a game artist, he's an artist who makes games. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing, and a Masters from SMU Guildhall, his approach and sharp eye contribute to his high quality work. Whether he's making assets for the Environment Art team, or providing detailed artistic feedback to Outsource partners around the world, Justin's abilities as an artist are unmatched.
